Kelapa Media influencers arrive in the Maldives

Dani and Oscar, influencers representing Kelapa Media, have arrived in the Maldives for a familiarisation trip, upon invitation by Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC). The duo will be in the Maldives for this trip from June 26 to July 6.

Kelapa Media is a film production company that creates commercial photography and videography for brands and encompasses an audience covering the US, Canada, UK, Italy, and UAE markets. Kelapa Media comprises of Dani and Oscar, an award-winning photographer, and videographer.

Through the trip, MMPRC said it aims to market the romantic side of Maldives, emphasising a variety of services catering to luxurious, adventurous experiences available for couples. The duo will stay in Fairmont Sirru Fen Fushi, Grand Park Kodhipparu, and Reethi Beach Resort where they will experience spa and wellness, diving, snorkelling, gastronomy, and other unique services provided by these properties. The duo will create and share videos and photos, and promote the Maldives on their social media handles expected to reach a wide audience, especially honeymooners and couples.

The trip will help highlight the romantic side of life, the unique products, and the services awaiting couples in the Maldives. It will also help to promote the privacy, safety, and seclusion the destination offers, the geography of our scattered islands, the latest travel guidelines, and destination information.

The trip is organised as part of the marketing strategy to promote the various segments of tourism available in the destination for tourists from the US market, especially the experiences awaiting couples in the Maldives. The US currently stands as the 7th top source market to the Maldives from January till June 8 this year. During the period, the Maldives welcomed 732,884 visitors, with the US contributing 4.7% to the total market share with 34,609 visitors. MMPRC has been holding several activities, including joint campaigns with industry stakeholders, familiarisation trips, and participation in fairs and exhibitions targeting the market in order to maintain destination popularity, and visibility, in order to increase arrivals from the US.

IMTM Pvt. Ltd.’s much-anticipated annual International Maldives Travel Market (IMTM) 2022 is set to take place on 7th and 8th September at Manhattan Business Hotel in Male’ this year. ENJOY ‘ALL THINGS MALDIVES’ AT NATAS HOLIDAYS 2022 SINGAPORE

‘All Things Maldives’ is being showcased at the NATAS Holidays 2022 event, held in Singapore, led by Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC / Visit Maldives) along with industry partners. The fair will take place from 12 – 14 August 2022 at Singapore EXPO Hall 5..

NATAS Travel Fairs, launched in 1987, is a biannual affair that features different tourism products with the best travel deals for the market. Since inception, NATAS has been able to accumulate over 2.4 million visitors and is one of the most popular travel fairs among Singaporeans. NATAS Holidays showcases members’ latest products, trends and destinations. Attracting an average of over 100,000 visitors each run, the NATAS Travel fair brings in outbound travel agents, national tourist organisations, airlines, hotels، and other travel-related services under one roof.

MMPRC is accompanied at the fair by 23 participants from 12 companies. Through this event, MMPRC hopes to market the unique geographical features of our island nation, our products including resorts, hotels, guesthouses and liveaboards, the different segments, and unique experiences awaiting tourists in the Maldives. Participation in the event comes as part of MMPRC’s marketing strategy for the South East Asian (SEA) market, especially the Singaporean travellers. It aims to promote the Maldives as the most preferred destination, emphasising the close proximity and cultural aspects which make the Maldives ideal for travellers from this region.

The event provides a platform for industry partners to showcase and promote their products, whilst giving the destination the chance to achieve pre-pandemic arrival numbers and increase overall numbers from the region. An Outdoor Advertising Campaign is also being carried out coinciding with the fair, in which destination video ads are placed in prominent areas of Singapore such as HDB Hub, Jurong Point, and Bedok Town Square. world.

From January to July 2022 Maldives welcomed 18,489 tourists from the SEA market. MMPRC has been holding several activities targeting this market, including joint-marketing campaigns with major stakeholders, outdoor advertising campaigns, participation in fairs, hosting webinars, E-Learning programs and other events. Similar activities are in the pipeline for this market for this year as well, including joint-marketing campaigns with Travel Daily Media, Traveloka, and participation in ADEX Asia 2022 and ITB Asia 2022.

MMPRC carried out 260 different marketing activities in 22 global markets last year, including fairs, roadshows, familiarisation trips, marketing campaigns, webinars, and interviews. The greatest testament to the success of these activities came late last year, as the Maldives secured the title of ‘World’s Leading Destination’ (among several other accolades) at the 2021 World Travel Awards, globally recognised as the hallmark of industry excellence. This is the second consecutive year that the Maldives had successfully earned this prestigious title, a shining testimony of the trust placed in the ‘magic of Maldivian hospitality’ by travellers from all over the globe.

RADISSON BLU RESORT MALDIVES IS SET TO HOST THE MALDIVES MUSIC FESTIVAL 2022 EDITION WITH WORLD ACCLAIMED DJS

Radisson Blu Resort Maldives is set to bring travelers a multi-dimensional experience in the 2022 edition of the Maldives Music Festival. A dream come true for travelers who enjoy the vibrant party scenes but also looking for a relaxing retreat in a tropical heaven.

From 12 to 19 November 2022, the week-long festival mixes rich culinary flavours and great music, surrounded by the most breathtaking scenery on the planet, promising a feast for the senses. Curated events are assembled, each with its own unique theme, and featuring live performances by internationally acclaimed DJs.

The Maldives Music Festival will once again feature Facundo Mohrr in its second edition. Facundo was the main act from “all day I dream” famous worldwide party and is constantly listed to play by the head honcho. Author of the Global summer anthem track “Osama”, Kasango has been a constant presence at the center stage in Saint Tropez and Mykonos. In this edition, the festival will present one of the best French artists and music producers, MAGA. His music project will take the party goers on a journey of melodic, organic, and minimalistic patterns.

Fischetti, the legendary and one of the most respected Brazilian DJ is internationally recognized for his work and has conquered DJ booths around the globe including Ibiza, Las Vegas, and Tomorrowland will also join the deck at the festival. With Persio Semeraro and Gui Defillipi, the finest House Music DJs and La Beduina’s label partners, they are set to bring to the island a Middle Eastern influence with organic beats. More artists will be announced in the coming weeks.
